Service

I am serving as a member of the Student and Outreach Subcommittee of the IEEE Information Theory Society for the year 2023. I have served as a reviewer for multiple IEEE and ACM conferences and journals, including IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Information Theory, IEEE Transactions on Communications, ACM MobiCom 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, IEEE BITS The Information Theory Magazine and IFAC NecSys 2022.

Proposal Participation

Teaching and Mentorship

I currently serve as an ECE mentor to first year ECE graduate students, a role I have been involved in since Spring 2020. In the past, I have also served as an REU mentor to summer undergraduate research students and as a teaching assistant and grader for ELEC 535 (Information Theory), ELEC 519 (Data Science and Dynamical Systems) and ELEC 243 (Electronic Measurement Systems).

Outreach and Leadership

I am also heavily involved in various student clubs here at Rice – I have served as the Professional Development Director for the ECE GSA, as a Graduate Wellbeing Peer, as the Outreach Coordinator for Rice Salseros, and as the Publicity Coordinator and Webmaster for Indian Students at Rice.
